Hunter Walker has spent a decade reporting on politics. He is a reporter from Brooklyn, New York. Currently, Walker is the White House Correspondent for Yahoo News. Previously he was the politics editor for Business Insider, national affairs reporter for Talking Points Memo and senior editor at the New York Observer.
Walker has also contributed to a variety of publications including the Village Voice, New York Magazine, Forbes & National Geographic.
I enjoyed the discussion around the naming of this channel. We wanted to play with the ambiguity of the word uprising. People can rise up in anger & also, the sun ‘rises up’ every morning morning. Ultimately, I think, the ‘good’ wins out. We wanted a similar idea to come across in the design.
There are already many great newsletters coming from Washington, but this is going to be something different. This is an age of upheaval. And a moment as unpredictable and unstable as this one demands an unconventional approach to political news.
